Akashi Kaikyou Bridge

Akashi Kaikyou Bridge (明石海峡大橋), is the World's longest suspension bridge. Located near Kobe, Japan, it is almost 4 km long. The bridge connets Awaji island to the main island Honshu of Japan.

Unfortunately, the sky was cloudy and the air was not clear when I reached the bridge. Anyway, here are some photos.

Winter in Matsudai, Niigata

Matsudai in Niigata prefecture is the place that receives the heaviest snowfall in Japan (some say in the world, too). I was there last month, during a 4-day volunteer camp for removing snow from roadways to older people's houses.
